One of the leading producers of cocoa, Ghana ironically does not celebrate chocolate. I could not good quality Ghana chocolate. There are no native desserts either. Delicious fried plantain came the closest to keeping the sweet toothed individual alive. But the politics and economics of cocoa can give a whole new meaning to dark chocolate. Investigate at your own peril…
